Balance backward – Balance forward

Balance backward and Balance forward is an ensemble of two limited edition bronze sculpture by the Belgian artist Mieke Deweerdt. It shows the interaction between humans, as well as the struggle of maintaining balance between all aspects of life and the efforts we need to make to live together in harmony.

This artwork arouses a sense of identification in the viewer thanks to its universal theme and the undefined facial expressions. It’s a playful duet of skilfully cast bronze figurines.

Our bronze sculptures are cast using the lost wax method. Balance backward and Balance forward are limited edition bronze sculptures, each piece is numbered and signed.
