Empathy

To dance is to empathize. This idea is one of the reasons why dance is the main subject in most of Jacques Vanroose’s artworks. Much like we humans need to be able to adapt and react to other people’s emotions appropriately, dancers in a group need to be attuned perfectly to create a melodic performance. That is the essence of Empathy.
