To participate

In To participate, Ann Vrielinck captures the moment before action. A tall figure holds a ball high above its head, ready for its first decisive move. The textured bronze surface gives the piece a raw edge, turning a simple gesture into a statement about choice. Standing tall and focused, it quietly reminds us that to truly participate is to take the initiative, step forward, and join the game.
